So I got approx £102.60 in my bank and living in a flat (private) where my rent is overdue by 2 weeks.
I couldn't get a job due to the fact my course literally runs from morning till evening. Now, due to loads of stress about money and my course I'm thinking that it would be better if I drop out.
I don't want to work at a fast food restaurant (because i tried and got rejected anyways!) but I was wondering if anyone could tell me which jobs would be easiest to get in the short term so i can atleast pay off my bills. And please give serious answers.

BTW I can't get help from my parents so thats out of the question. Tried to ask a couple of people from my course whether I could stay with them but they all turned out to be a bunch of selfish *******s.

Need Help ASAP. My rent is like 2 weeks overdue and I'm worried I might come back to my flat one day to find my stuff thrown out.

Try everywhere!! Bars, Clubs, Restraunts, McDonalds if you have to
And make sure you seem really enthusiastic!!
If you're really struggling go to the Job Centre and speak with them about things, they should be able to help!!
If I can think of anything else I shall edit this post - Good Luck

Waitrose, Tesco and a few other supermarkets recently unveiled extra jobs. Hunt them down.

Due to the fact I'm pretty depressed about my situation, I don't think I'll come across as an "enthusiastic, fun going person"

If you need it right away, you're much better off trying small cafes and independent shops, big chains normally have quite a long process of applications/interviews

Surely there must be someone you can go and live with - a distant relative? If not, aren't there housing benefits?

Especially if you go to university, they have a crisis fund for people like you. If you go to university there are pretty much always options which permit you to finish your course of study.

    Get.over.it.
The job situation is as such that there are like 20+ ppl going for the same Jobs. You have to stand out from the crowd if you want to get somewhere, simple as that.
The employers dont care about your personal situation, all they care about is whether you'd be a decent employee
As I said, get your backside to the Job Centre and talk to real ppl, face to face - showing initiative is a great trait to have, looks good on your CV

Edit: Why on earth should I get neg rep for telling it like it is!! If he can't be bothered to get off his backside and speak to ppl, he doesn't really have the right to complain about such a situation - being as he hasn't done all he can to avoid it

Okayy I know this is going to sound stupid, but you should try an airport or work as a cabin crew member for an airline. The pay is quite decent and you get paid extra money for every hour your away from your base which can come to an extra 4 thousand a year. I donbt know if british airways are looking for junior crew members but I know their subsidary ba citi flyer is. Also flybe and thomsons are looking to recruit cabin crew but if you want more details on his hiring then go to best aviation.com they are a really good site. If you need anymore information please come back to me.

Well you only have to wear a mask for the duration of the interview...You're life pretty much depends on a job so suck it up, and just pretend to come across enthusiastic.

I'ts only for an hour tops really.
