Basically, I went over my £500 overdraft limit last weekend when an unexpected direct debit came out, so I ended up about -502. My mum transferred money, so I'm still awaiting the charge. Today, my phone bill has arrived early. I was -493ish yesterday, and now I'm -537. I'm gutted, loan doesn't come in until Thursday and the charges are going to be hellish aren't they? I can't find much on the RBS website about overdrawn charges..

Is there any way I can extend my overdraft or will they not let me because I'm maxing it out every month? I'm starting a job soon, which should help. I'm sick of being soo skint.

I have no experience of this so can't really help but won't your mum loan you the £37 until you get your loan? (How are you still getting your loan if you've dropped out?) Or if you speak to them about it now they might be more understanding - tell them about your job etc.
