Although this is academic, i thought I would just post this on here to get somebody's attention. I am currently in the process of doing my History coursework (OCR) on "how successful was Gladstone in solving the Irish Question?" So far, I have approached it by going thru' each area of the Irish Q and assessing his attempts i.e land, ecclesiatical etc. Is this a good structure for the essay? Furthermore, I have used loads of sources as you are susposed, often quoting phrases or summarising opinions and cross-referencing them. Is this the sort of thing good pracrice or can you suggest another way?

Is that for A2or As?

Overal your plan looks fine. the only thing i would guess you need to do, would be to work out how you're going to incorporate source analysis into your essay. In don't know if you have to do it for OCR but for AQA it was a pretty major part of the mark scheme.
