    Hey guys,
as the title says, what are the chances? Is it hard? Do you have to be exceptional to able to get a PROFESSIONAL job in UK? like really have to stand out? I'm going to study Econ in one of these universities under my signature. I main goal is to get a job. Not the job working in a convenient stores I mean the jobs that require a degree like Economics that will help me getting the professional jobs such as IB/Consulting.
Any facts you want to share?

hiya..i am a firsr year economics students at durham uni. as far as i am concerned, it is pretty challenging for anyone to find a decent job in this economic climate. obviously, you have to stand out. since you want to get into IB, then you have to be exceptionally talented. IB is the most sought-after section within financial industry..hope everything goes on well with you..ps. i have sent you a personal message..

I would say getting a job in UK would be pretty hard atm, since a lot of people there are out of a job and etc because of the economic situation right now, the work situation is more serious there then it is in the US. But if you havent started your first year yet, the situation may be different when you are done with your edu.
