    Hey,

Recently I've discovered a red spot on the roof of my vagina, it really hurts when it rubs against my jeans and I'm not sure wether to be woried about it or not (I'm a virgin so therefor it can't be an STI). I don't think it's serious enough to go to the doctor for.

    What do you guys think?

If it hurts it's generally likely to be fine. Give it a few days, try a hot bath and a hot facecloth maybe - it might just be a spot or something. If it persists get it seen to obviously, and if it gets a lot redder, bigger and hotter get it seen to as well. More than likely nothing to worry about though x

A little sudo cream maybe to help clear it up?

If it is still red, for the love of god don't squeeze it yet. Wait until you can see the white pus, then squeeze the s*** out of it.

Does it look like a face spot? I generally don't get spots on my face, but I do occasionally on my bikini line and vulva, so it makes it hard to compare, although they do eventually squeeze like face spots. (Also I've been tested a couple of times, and it's not an STI)

It sounds like a cyst, nothing to worry about and very normal for women to get these due to stress. If it's causing you a great deal of discomfort go to your doctors who can prescribe you antibiotics

This sounds more like a normal boil than a cyst. Cysts are very common for women too in these areas, though they can quite often be very long lasting/permanent (the doctors won't do anything about them unless they're problematic), and shouldn't hurt.

Something like the OP's problem will most probably disappear in a week or so, and are common in areas like this, as well as bums and armpits! Yummy.

ok first off, what the hell is the roof of your vagina...

secondly you can catch sti's while being a virgin (oral sex...) and you can still get infections down there anyway. so basically wait a couple of days and see if it goes away. if not see a doctor.

Doctors do give antibiotics or can remove them if antibiotics does not work on cysts

Yes. If they're problematic, bothering the individual so. I was just pointing out that the OP's problem isn't a cyst. It's a boil.

    Thats exactly what I thought.

You can get spots down there so it could be that - I once had a funny red lump in my armpit and I was really scared what it was. I asked my mum and she was like' yeah thats a spot'. I was so embarassed So yeah it could be a spot - especially if its a bit painful on your jeans I guess. Just like the ones on your face

Don't try facewash on it or anything though. Chemicals down there D:

Just see if its goes away, if it doesn't, then go and see a doctor

at first i assumed it was inside but on the top side (roughly where the old g-spot is).... but then the "rubs against jeans" comment has left me totally perplexed
