It was pretty expensive but it doesn't fit too well around the lower half of the sweater, it's a bit loose. Is there anyway to make it fit a bit tighter without cutting it up etc?

Quite smart that, but there's nothing worse than clothes that don't fit properly. Take it back or stick it on eBay.

Maybe try stiching some elastic on the inside, round the bottom. You'd most likely have to try and gather the bottom up a bit, but this shoudn't be a problem given that its designed to strech etc.

Alternitively, just take it back. Its not that nice, especially for the amount of money you probably paid for it.

Tumble dry on a high setting should shrink it a bit.

What's wrong with it? Rather an RL top than some cheap trashy tracksuit.

OP take it back, or try shrinking it slightly in the wash?

No way are you suggesting this guy tumble drys his new woolen sweater?
Take it back and spend the doller on another style or even another brand

Well if they'd accept taking it back and replacing it with a different style that'd be good but clearly the OP likes it or he wouldnt have bought it! Ralph have got some quality sweaters, but I really dont like that one at all - looks kinda naff.

Eeeeeurgh, that's horrible. My advice would be to throw it in the bin.

You can't always get what you want though! Definitely definitely don't ruin a brand new sweater by trying to shrink it... Yeah RL do pretty decent plain tee's jumper's trousers etc. Would personally spend it on other brands though.

Google 'Our Legacy'. They do amazing sweats/jumpers.
