I'm going to a rainforest for 2 months this Summer, so its going to be rather humid.... My hair is longish and is generally a bit of a frizzy/wavy/curly mess...I'm not sure if I should get it cut before I go... I wont be able to use coniditioner when I'm out there, so I'm thinking if I have it cut to above my shoulders, it'll be easier to manage but will having short hair just make my hair even 'bigger'?

If you're going to the rainforest, you're not going to be using conditioner and your hair is frizzy/curly already, I'd say unless you cut your hair REALLY short it's going to be impossible to manage either way, you'll probably end up wanting to put it in a plait or something and keep it like that the whole time. I wouldn't even try to wear mine down in those kind of conditions! So cutting it a bit would stop your head feeling so hot and sweaty and horrible, but it'd probably be better if you make sure it can still be tied up completely out the way, cos having stringy annoying hair getting in your face and covering your neck when you're so hot and humid sounds really uncomfortable!
