first nectar, then clubcard....and now UCAS......what has the world come to with this whole points shenanigan!!!

    (Original post by uberboss)
    Jesus Christ.
    I am here for help.

I am not here to boast or anything. It is natural that Alevels cannot get as many points as AP... you know why?? Because APs are easier and there are loads of them to take!!
I just think some people may have taken issue with the perceived conceited nature of your original post...in all honesty, as I explained, those grades would be enough to get you an interview. But whatever grades, they'll only ever get you that far, as I previously explained, it is about academic potential and intellect not prior academic acheivement when deciding whom to accept. Again, why do you want to transfer from UCL and what makes you think you'll be allowed to? It is a HIGHLY unusual route to take, after all. Oh and remember that in no circumstances would they waive the requirement to do a full 3 year course on the basis of your past study, since university regulations require that you pass full Part I and Part II Tripos (Triposes??). And why did you ask if you were good enough for UCL if you're already definitely going there for a year...? Sorry, but this really isn't making too much sense! Which may well be why some people consider it an attention-grabbing exercise.

Everyone, forget about all this. My situation is a really weird one, so I am going to call the admissions.

Please, not I am not seeking for attention.
