What do you think? It seems like the British can't approach the opposite sex unless they been drinking alcohol. Almost nobody in the UK has the balls (or tits) to approach someone while they are sober? Why is this?

So if there was no alcohol or it got banned, you Brits would have problems getting laid.

I'm originally from South America and I notice as soon as I arrive to the UK that nobody approaches anyone to chat them up UNLESS they are drunk.

But in South America, men will approach women in broad daylight and it is considered perfectly socially acceptable. I find it odd that people don't do that in the UK.

I'll flirt sober and drunk. It's not so much being drunk that helps with getting laid as it is the environments in which you're usually drinking. Dancefloors in clubs are a lot more physical than coffee shops or libraries.

Shouting vulgar pick up lines is not socially acceptable in Europe, except maybe the East and Spain.

To answer the thread title: yes, assuming nothing existed in its place. For example more people would do drugs, which would have a not dissimilar effect.

I never said you have to shout 'vulgar pickup lines'....I simply said you have to approach girls. You can be charming, confident and non-vulgar.
