I have applied to do the Foundation degree for Film Production. I have the interview next week and very nervous about it as Ravensbourne is my top choice! I have made a website with photography, designs, tradional art and some games I have made. Will I get the chance to show this? 'cos I had an interview for film at Leeds and they didnt even look at it! I have made a few adverts and a short film, which I think dont think are that great....should I make a showreel out of the films? How long should it be? Or do I just show the full footage?

I had an interview at Ravensbourne last week and can tell you that you will definitely get a chance to show your work.

I would advise you to show only things you have made relating to your course so seeing as you're applying for the film production course I would take in any work you've filmed, written, edited etc. I would say just put all your work on the disc/hard-drive or whatever you're choosing to take your work on and when you get there they'll put your work on the computer and ask what you want to show but like I said they will more than likely only be interested in the work related to the course you are doing.

Also do a bit of homework they will ask you questions relating to your course. Oh and be prepared as when I went it was a group interview! I wish you all the best!
