1. 6 Mark question???
2. Is it still possible for me to get an A in AS Physics =/

I think I got 40/60 for the EMPA
40/70 for physics 1

[these scores are just to be on the safe side , i think i got a bit higher but maybe not =/]

What would I have to get in unit 2, if even possible, to get an A overall ? =/

if anyone wishes to correct me please do but your total UMS from what you just said i estimate at about 116 therefore i don't think it is possible for you to obtain an A although if you got 100% in unit 2 you may just scrape the boundary.

I had (1.52-0.09)/3.20 = 0.45
How did you get to that answer? Did you take away the last point from the first and divide it by the total current?

2. Give quark structure of a meson. Quark, anti-quark. (1 mark)

3. What makes a K*+ with a strange quark different to something that has not? Has a strangeness of -1. (1 mark)

Onwards?

Or is this a stupid thing to do? Just I'm sure we all remember some questions, so we can try and piece it together?

Correct questions if I'm wrong.

Erm last question. Answers were -
a) 5 ohms,
b) Prove that 5 ohms was correct and perhaps show that resistance was 3 on top of this (it was 3 marks)
c) 1.33

Question 2 is incorrect, it asked for the quark structure of a positive pion.
I like your idea though.

Define an isotope. A different atom of the same element with a different number of neutrons and the same number of protons. (2 marks)

I agree we should try and make our own mark scheme.

but im sure question 2 was the quark structure of pi+ which is up, anti-down.

I'm not sure that im 100% right but i worked out 40/60 UMS for EMPA and somewhere between 70 and 80 UMS for Unit 1 and you need 240 for an A I think.

16. i used algebra to get the answer to the 3rd last question,

a 2axa/2a+a = 5
but i got 5a(a-3) so a = 0 or 3 ? the answer that it required but i really think i was over complicating it :/

3. I think the answer is: K+ mesons decay into Pi mesons --> I'm pretty sure it's something about decay
(Although I put "It has a strange quark")

Anyway, how did people find the paper?
