Hey. I have some friends who managed to have a cat in their campus rooms. It is extreme, as they had to ensure that no one would found out. Just matter of interest did anyone did this before?

What a cruel thing to do.

Cats are supposed to walk around over vast spaces - no matter how much we've domesticated and interbred them that shouldn't be taken away from them.

I'm sure they let them out as well when they leave campus or something

    How disgusting

As much as i want my cat to be in halls with me next year i would never do that to her. She would be constantly stressed out if you had to hide her quickly or keep her locked away at times. She would have no freedom - especially if she is already an indoor cat. If you had porters you would have to sneak her out should she need to see a vet.

And her litterbox would be far too close to her food and her bed and she would have no real space to play.

I do not believe your friend kept a cat on campus anyway but went along with the dicussion.

i know that in friends halls theres a stray cat roaming about that they all feed. Its called "Fat Cat" because everyone ends up feeding it. But i dont think theyd bring it inside. Also a cat in your room; think how unhygenic that would be.

I've heard of people smuggling in other pets, like hamsters and stuff...but a cat?
If it's true, i'm sorta jealous, 'cause i'm really going to miss my cat, but he loves it outside so it would be really cruel. The poor thing must be so bored and stressed!
