    First post, first thread!

Basically, I'm doing my AS year at fairly good sixth form as a once in my life opportunity (i.e it'd never be an option if I left it any later).

I'm not overly sure that I want to go to University, I'd much rather go for an apprenticeship. I've always wanted to work in construction (dreams of being an architect etc.) but I've now thought more specifically about the subject and settled on project management.

My question; what type of apprenticeship (more specific than "Construction") do I need to be looking at. I've checked the national apprenticeships website and none come up for the type of work I'm looking for - just general joinery work etc.
