    Hey,

Basically I have always been an active person and played a lot of sport, meaning I have always had a fairly athletic body. A couple of days ago I had shoulder surgery, meaning i can't run, do sit ups and my limit of physical activity is obviously restricted for 3 months or longer. I was just wondering if anybody else had been through anything similar, and knew of any ways to try and keep vaguely in shape as I really don't want to put a lot of weight on during this period. Thankyou

My friend had shoulder surgery recently as well - do whatever excersize you can do, just be careful about what you eat during this time.

Since you used to do more activity, you'll be wanting to eat much more than you need to - because you feel hungry, and robably a bit of boredom as well. So just be controlled about it.
