I found General Studies a bit pointless, but seeing as you don't need to do anything for it, other than turn up at the exam, I might as well keep it.
My biggest regret was Divination. So bloody pointless. I mean, can't I just drink my tea without worrying about death omens, or the weather?
I would probably have taken potions instead, as it would have helped me get into uni for chemistry.

English Lit. If you like books and reading, writing good arguments, having good teachers who don't disagree with each other and not following stupid exam criteria, don't do it to yourself.

French. I wanted to drop it after a month but it was too late, so I didn't bother working in protest. Didn't (intentionally) learn any vocab or grammar, didn't bother with any homework and moreover didn't revise for the exams. I ended up getting a C, so the joke was on me really... If I'd worked just a little bit, I could have done quite well.

Bit of a lesson there - always try your hardest, or at least try a little bit.

...but I must add, all subjects are relative to the individual. You might really love English Lit!

Some people take music technology because they think it's a doss, then say it's a stupid subject blah blah blah oh it's so awful. But then if it's exactly your thing (like it is with me), then you'd love it.

And I adore psychology, but everyone else in my class hates it. Explains why me and one other girl were the only ones who got As in January!

But one thing I MUST advise you on; don't take what your parents, or anyone else tells you to do. I can't stress how important it is to be able to enjoy your a levels. I would have taken Graphics instead of History. Now I have a big fat U in history at AS no doubt.

I regret taking Maths - so dull. Wish I'd taken either Philosophy and Ethics or a language instead.

my teacher got pregnant. She was off for most of the year, when she was in she was hormonal.
The other drama teacher HATED me because i ate a cookie in her lesson.
Our replacement was soo lovely, didnt know anything about drama though.
    I scraped a B.

    NEVER AGAIN.
