Let's say your friend expects an important phone call in the morning. So this is what you do:
    0. Wait for him to fall asleep.
    1. Take his phone and put it into a plastic bag.
    2. Seal the bag with duck-tape
    3. Put it into a smaller plastic bowl filled with water and then put everything into freezer (make sure you turn off any alarm clock on the phone)
    4. In the morning, take the phone (which is now sealed in an ice cube or something similar) and put it next to his bed, or wherever you found it.
    5. Make sure you have your cam on battery full and ready to tape
    6. ENJOY

Well done, you've just broken your mate's phone and royally pissed him off by making him miss his call. Great mate, you are.

Did this haven't broken it, I ensured that there's no leakage of water.
That's why this is a prank

Shouldn't damage it - at least it didn't in my case.
