    I've been looking at a book and I just want to make sure I've got the basic theory of proof sussed:

    'If a movie is not worth seeing, then it was not made in England. A movie is worth seeing ONLY if critic Ivor Smallbrain reviews it. The move 'The Good, the Bad and the Mathmatician was not reviewed by Ivor Smallbrain. Therefore it was not made in England.'

    I'm going to underline letters to mean NOT them as I don't know how to write a bar.

    Assume W means worth seeing. E means made in england. I means it was reviewed by Ivor.

    My thought process was:

    W => E

    and W => I

    Therefore I => W

    and so I => E

    And so the movie was not made in England.

    Did I deduce implications from the text properly?

    All good and clearly stated

    (Just to say the ¬ symbol is good for meaning not...gets used in propositional logic and is on a keyboard! eg. ¬A means not A)

    can't see anything wrong with that
