I had average GCSE results (Edexcel IGCSE)

    English Language A
    English Literature A
    Geography B
    History B
    Business Studies B
    Biology D
    Maths D
    Chemistry D
    Physics E

I wanna do Medicine or Engineering at a top uni. but I've heard that they do take considerations into your GCSE results. Will my results matter if I have very good A Levels?

I am planning to re-sit all the maths and sciences. Will universities disregard my application since I have resat the exams?

I'd say with a D in Chemistry & Biology first time round you'll struggle to get any med offers. You really need BB first time round. Best thing would be to email unis asking if they accept retaken GCSE's.
