Currently I'm just finishing my first of a combined Applied Chemistry & Chemical Engineering. The course I'm currently on fulfills the educational requirements for Chartership by the IChemE and the RSC.

I've been thinking about switching to straight Chemical Engineering.

The question is: Would graduate employers prefer a degree in more depth of study (i.e. more specialised) or a more broad degree which covers more disciplines?

Thanks in advance for any help
