How skinny is too skinny for a girl? watch

Basically, I've been tiny all my life, since I was a baby. Now that I'm 18 i weigh only 6 stone [I'm about 5ft 3/4] My mum just says that that's the way I'm built, but I can't help thinking that it's a little too far off the scale to be normal.
It's seems to be majorly off-putting for guys, rarely get any attention apart from surprise at how young I look/skinny I am. I'm sick of it! Plus every single piece of clothing I own looks **** on me! I've been trying for the past 3 months to eat vast amounts of food [about 2300-2500 calories a day] so that I look decent in a bikini in the summer, to no avail, haven't gained any weight whatsoever. Are some people meant to be this skinny? Or am I just not eating enough?

Sometimes people are just naturally skinny. IE the people who eat like a pig but are still as skinny as a rake. You're not that tall, so it's probably not as noticeable as if you were abit taller. As long as you are healthy and eat right I wouldn't worry.
