Basically I've applied for a maintenance loan, and they've accepted it, however I wanted to apply or a grant as well. How do I do that if I've already sent my application off?? Can I just register again and then go through the application process again?

Send them a signed letter stating that you made a mistake and now want to be means tested, then they'll be able to take it from there.

If it was online, you can simply log on and select you want to make changes to your application.
    Hope this helps

I've tried doing this! It doesn't give an option to change to a means-tested application?

Correct, sorry. You'll need a paper form to do this - a PN1 for new students. There's a section for parents and partners to put their information in so that you can get a grant -
