    Hi,

This might be a bit of a rant so thank you if you read it!

I've been with my boyfriend for 5 years and we've lived in our own place for 3 of those. He used to work but for the past 2 years he hasn't been. I've been in work and effectively paid for our rent and bills etc. I didn't mind this for a while but over the last year he's become very lazy and not bothered looking for work really he'll look online and apply for a few but nothing like warehouse/retail etc as he said he won't like it. He alos won't sign on at the jobcentre even though I said it would prove to me he doesn't take me for granted.

As well as that I've also stopped finding him as attractive. I love him and the thought of leaving him tears me up as he's all I have really and I'm all he has but at the same time I can't keep working and supporting his lazy ass can I?

    Thank you

Tell him that you think he's become lazy and should sort his life out. Ask him if he thinks its appropriate to be completely dependent on you, even though he's capable of working as well.

If he leaves an accurate resemblance of his ass in the seat he tends to sit at, show him the door.

Tell him this. From what you say you're completely right so his reaction will tell you what to do next.

Read some feminist articles online and don't feel so bad about kicking him out?

Talk to him, say what you just did. Be truthful. It may hurt him, but not everything in life is hunky dory.
