Is randomly recognising someone you have only ever seen on facebook the height of stalking?

My old housemate has never ever met my brother in real life but then one time she just started asking me is your brother's name ......., I told her yes and then she goes; I saw his picture on facebook. Since then she's always been always asking questions about him.

Yesterday she said, oh I think I saw your brother .... today (the name she used is his nick name which isn't the same as his actual facebook name, suggests to me that she's been looking at various comments and wall posts relating to my brother so she knows he has two names).

The funny thing is I have a sister who is equally active on facebook and she's never asked anything about her.

I asked my brother if he was at a certain place at the given time and it turns out if was definitely him.

To me that's the height of stalking, I find it a bit strange. I'd never just recognise someone from facebook inless I've really been stalking their profile.
