    Hey

I have an offer for economic and politics, not firmed yet, want to go to Birmingham but want to change course to management.

    Easy to do?

When should I do it? After firmed? After results? After getting there?

    Thanks,
    Sarah

I'm in the same boat: I'm also trying to change my course of study for next year. From what I've read online, the best thing to do is call the school directly as soon as possible

I applied to Birmingham last year and, after the applicant day, realised the course wasn't right for me. I contacted the department and let them know how I was feeling, and asked whether it would be possible to amend my offer to a different course which I felt was more 'me'. They said it would be no problem, and it was sorted out fairly quickly

I ended up making it my insurance, as I lost my nerve and didn't think I could get the grades (AAB), so firmed a course with lower requirements (odd, I know!). After I exceeded the results quite significantly, I decided to take a gap year and reapply. This time, I have a firmed, unconditional offer from Birmingham
