    anon please

Basically i have a great bunch of flatmates. Im a guy and in my flat theres another guy and 5 girls.

We have a great time espectially at the start of uni we got along amazingly together.

The other guy comes from a very well off family and he trades foreign exchange markets everyday and makes A LOT of money, ive seen him do it and the money he makes.

Anyway the point is all the girls seem to always hang out with him, i feel like im getting pushed out. When we go out he always buys everyone expensive drinks and always offers to pay for everything. He went to the cinema with 2 girls the other week and they went into a few shops after, they really wanted new dresses and he bought it for them.... costing him over £500! since then everyone his bestfriend.

Ive spoken to him about it and he knows people are attracted towards him for his money but he doesnt mind, he likes spending his money on other people. He makes enough of it!

Every since he bought those dresses it seems like all the girls want to hangout with him and go out =/ I feel pushed out like im not apart of their group of friends anymore.

Any advice =/ i cant compete with a guy whos got a money printer in his room and hes smart, intelligent and dresses to impress. =/

You should join them on their nights out, or you could organise nights out with them all. You could try talking to them and explaining how you feel...I'm pretty sure they're not doing it on purpose, they're just hanging out with your male flatmate cause he's rich and buying them loads of things Make a little more effort and try and enjoy yourself

Well as you say they are probably just hanging around with him for his money - do you really want to be with people like that?
