Everything you have described is lower middle class, in terms of both you and your parents.

Upper middle class and upper class people don't work / shop in Jack Wills, don't have several foreign holidays a year (Ski in winter; summers in Suffolk, Scotland, Devon), and don't obsess about social class because they know who and what they are.

Forget class and think of other things to post about (preferably not Jack Wills)

There's a joke which isn't very accurate, but says you can identify your class by where your name is written: if you're working class, your name is on a badge on your shirt. If you're middle class, it's on your desk. If you're upper class, it's on the building.

But yeah, aspirational middle, if you really want a label.

    Middle. ....
Once you get a good job and a better house then you will proceed to be a better person - upper class.

I have been privately educated since I was eight. I then went on to the University of Bristol, where I am in a social circle of people almost exclusively from top public schools. I used to ride horses and go on several foreign holidays a year, and I have a job in Jack Wills. I vote Conservative, and believe that fox hunting should not have been banned. I read the Times. I have a 'posh' accent, and live in Oxford.

However, my parents read the Daily Mail and do not have posh accents. They do not have high-powered jobs and I live in a small house.

what social class would you put me in?
You started education when you was eight? Lad, you're so far behind the rest of us public school kids man. I was hitting up my nursery joint at 4 years old, riding the bikes and playing with paint and stuff. Lad, I was an artist and a cyclist before you even started getting educated.

You used to ride horses? wow dude, you think that makes you special huh? the majority of people I see riding horses are gypsies lad! buy a car!

You voted conservative? well done lad. Looks like you voted with a lot of other people in Britain, do you want a pat on the back or something, maybe a sticker or something?

You want to kill the fox? thats disgusting man. What the hell did the fox ever do to you huh?

YOU WANT TO HUNT ME? BRING IT ON POSH BOY!
