Distance Ed. vs attending classes on-campus watch

    • Thread Starter

Well as it stands I live in Australia and attend QUT (Queensland University of Technology). I'm in Semester 1 (6 weeks down so far) of a Bachelor of IT degree and I don't like it.

I want to be a teacher but as such I don't mind what I teach and some Universities (one in particular, University of Southern Queensland or USQ for short) is offering semester 2 entries for Bachelor of Education by distance education (I guess it differs from Open University, where her in Aus in particular Open Uni the units of a degree are all provided by different Universities... where as distance ed with USQ, it would all be done through USQ and you'd still do the same placements etc just do the actual study online and submit assignments online, and take exams at centres around the state)

Rather like the idea, but does anyone have any opinions as to whether this would be better/worse than waiting til February or whenever and taking the Bachelor of Education at a different University on-campus?

I wasn't sure where to post this. Hope someone's got some opinions about this!!
Which accompaniment is best?
