I don't know what to study at university, is something like animation etc worth it..? watch

I am 22 years old now, probably be 24 by the time I started university. Would it be worth going back to College to learn Art/Design/Animation. I would love to do a job of creating Animation sculptures and computerizing the whole animation process. I am quite arty anyway, but I have never really taken it up in College. I studied Sport Science at college, but then realised after I finished I didn't want to do a degree in Sport Science, instead I wanted to do something creative. So I may have to go back to College and study an access course or something along those lines. Anyway, I was just curious if It's really worth it though? I mean considering the rise in tuition fees next year, what would be best...?

I know quite a few people who've been to art college, most of them have a day job and do their artistic stuff in their spare time. So be prepared that you might not be able to get a job doing what you studied. But if it's what you really want to do then go ahead, you should start building up a portfolio now for your application.
