    Drama with English Joint honours?

In terms of job prospects etc, what do you guys think comes out on top? (Btw, I know neither have particularly high 'usefulness in the jobs market', but hey, it's what I want! so I would appreciate it if all the comments screaming "neither!" or "ew why aren't you doing Maths?" can be kept to a minimum)

Are they much the same in terms of what you can do after?

    - and before anyone says it, I enjoy both equally!

I'm guessing the best option is to do straight English and keep drama as an extra curricular/society pastime? Ideally I want to be a writer of some kind...

English by itself is on the same sort of level as a degree in Classics or History or whatever. When you start adding Drama or Creative Writing or similar *******s into the mix, I suspect that it gets viewed in a slightly more negative light.

    Straight English all the way
As a matter of fact, English (literature) is one of the traditional subjects that is viewed highly upon as far as I'm aware... (though I may just be getting defensive ) Seriously, it can lead to lots of diverse career paths...even work in finance
Obviously do what you think is best yadiyah but yeah, I would advise you to keep drama as a hobby
