    Hi,

I've just confirmed my firm and insurance choices on UCAS and then wondered about in the future. The position I'm in is this:

The course I've accepted as my firm has grades of ABB, however there's a possibility (quite a strong one actually) that I may well come out with A*AB. Does this mean I could possibly qualify for the adjustment scheme on UCAS? Or do I need to improve all three of my grades to above the level of my choice to qualify?

I'm not neccesarily looking to go into it should I get those grades come August, but it's nice to know I have options :P!

    Thanks, iVertigo .

Answers above, but don't get your hopes up. Fewer than 400 people a year get a place via this means.

You would qualify for the Adjustment Scheme – your grades would be classed as exceeding your offer.
In 2010 the number of people who were placed through the Adjustment Scheme actually decreased slightly to 377 from 384 in 2010, meaning that around 10% of all the applicants that registered for the scheme got their place through this route. That said, you don’t risk losing your firmed place simply for applying through the Adjustment Scheme.
