How do you meet a girl in this situation? watch

    Hello.

It's getting on my nerves really that I haven't had a girlfriend before. I'm 20.
I'm in my second year (just nearing the end of it) doing a course which is 100% male, and I enjoy being a loner. There's pretty much only one person I speak to in my lectures and even then I don't see him outside of university hours.

I can't stand the noise of clubs, and I don't enjoy the atmosphere of pubs either. For me, a good friday night includes sitting at my computer with a can of Dr. Pepper playing online games. That might sound sad, but I genuinely enjoy it and would take it any day over going out and drinking at a club or going to a social.

I wouldn't say I lack confidence, and although I don't enjoy socialising most of the time, I'm certainly not socially inept. I think I look ok, I'm not overweight and I'm 6'4".

Put simply, I don't usually enjoy being with people unless they are good friends or family.
But I do want a girlfriend.

So what's your advice? The problem is that right now, I'm not going to the places where I'd meet girls, is is a bad idea to approach a complete stranger? I'd rather stay alone than go out to a pub or whatever.

Kind of expecting people to tell me to go to socials etc. or deal with it but it's worth a shot. Thanks.

    Really:
    1) if your going to limit your interaction to a course thats 100% male you are not going to meet a girl unless there is a lady boy amongst them
2)If you going to confine yourself within your room then online is the only other way ...

    Solution:
Get the hell out of your house , possibly with said good friends ...

Even if you do meet a girl, how do you expect to keep her interested if all you want to do is stay at home?

But is there any other way than to go to pubs and ****?

I mean what about during the day time, would approaching a girl you've never met before (e.g. train station?) freak them out?

You could go to a social that involved gaming? Like, I dunno, some sort of club for online gaming? Not sure if there's such a thing but it means you don't have to go to clubs/pubs and still do what you enjoy whilst potentially meeting a girl? Even if there ain't girls there, you may enjoy and continue to stay there

Though sometimes a bit of the old alcohol goes down well when you're going to clubs... that way you won't notice the noise ;D

I don't mind going out, it's the binge drinking, loud music and crap like that I want to stay away from.

Do you have a job? I'm guessing you'd have to interact with people - you might meet someone like that or through people you become friends with. But yeaaah.. get socalising outside lectures and playing online games.
