    Hi guys,

I just got an offer from Derwent Living for Raleigh park in Nottingham.

I've been asked to pay a £250 deposit to secure my place (and I have to pay this within the next week). But I was wondering, what happens if I don't meet my offers and don't go to this accomodation? Do I lose the £250 deposit or will I get it back?

    Thanks

No, you will not get your deposit back. The deposit there is to secure your room, and if you do get your grade it will go on to become your 'bond', so that if something goes wrong it will be deducted.

I think you might be able to... if you ring up within say, 2 days of getting your results... but you'll have to ring them and double check.

Maybe. I'm going to ring them tomorrow now and see what they say.
