Looking for some advice please,
So I have an offer to study mathematics this year at university, however the university that has given me an offer is not regarded as very good and I don't actually enjoy mathematics that much to be honest. Hence I am now contemplating retaking a year and applying next year to a high ranking university studying a science based course which I know I will enjoy alot more. However my problem is would it still be worth it for me to do this with the fees being raised to extortionate levels? or should I just go this year and deal with going to a not very good uni and studying a subject I don't particularly enjoy.

Is the university that has given you the offer really objectionable to you? If its only maths that's the real issue you may be able to transfer to a different course. Alternatively, you could turn down the offer and see what is in extra - there are usually quite a few science courses at Russell Group universities still kicking around (even in clearing).

Why did you apply for maths if you don't enjoy it? As the above person said, you could ask to change course or try Extra.
