Here is a bit of the article.
Fantastic, he said something sensible, unlike the standard "I won't be able to afford top-up fees, they're elitist and unfair for poor students".

So which person are you?
Well, three of the four are female, and he is male, so I'm sure you can work it out.

The indian one he said, so he's got to be the bottom one! Anyways, what he says matches what he told us!

The speach sounds very much like a UKL member. 'Golf studies' and it includes everything we've already discussed! Good work

So I see you've seen it then. I thank you for regarding my comments as good

My sixth form is quite diverse but white people make up a minority. There were actually six people interviewed but LH's picture only shows four, the other two are English and Vietnamese males. Only me and my mate (the English male) backed top-up fees.

And it's Bengali, not Indian, sorry I have to be precise on that one.

Exactly. But half the people who were in the anti-fees protests and cancelled lectures last week with a sit-in protest probably don't understand that. The worst off will be those at the bottom end of the "middle class" bracket, though that's how it is now.

Just got back from seeing Lisa Maffia (from So Solid Crew) at Brookes..

So why then after the vote on Tuesday were all these students quoted saying "I won't be able to afford them", "This will mean poor students won't get the opportunity to go to university" etc?

Here is a bit of the article.
I don't understand why journalists persist in asking "how top-up fees will affect you" to students over the age of 16 as they will not be paying them! The only one on the piece that LH copied whose opinion has any validity is the 16 year old girl - the rest don't count!

Why did your school ask 6th formers to opine Zjuwel?

We were all sixth formers. And we will be paying them for one or two years.
