I've been with my boyfriend now for around 3 months. We have a fantastic relationship - he's funny, attentive, sweet. We get on really well with each others friends and everyone says we make the perfect couple.

But, should I wait for him to say "I love you"? Something tells me we both feel that way - he calls me as soon as he wakes up when we're not together to tell me he misses me, and that he wishes I was there etc. He calls me things like "m'lady/my love/my dear". We also joke around and say that we may as well be husband and wife, so should I just say or wait for him to say it? I mean, would it be more "proper" and traditional for the guy to say "I love you" first? Some of my friends have told me to wait because that would be more romantic, but I wanted an unbiased view on the matter.

3 months is not especially long. He will say it when he is ready. Get over it.

You're still in the honeymoon period.

Don't put so much emphasis on it. If you feel it and think he does too, cool. He shouldn't have to confirm it in words. If you're happy, that's all that matters.
