"assess whether the knowledge gained about human behavior justifies milgrams and others research in to obedience to authority figures"

iv hit a dead in in my essay,I'm struggling to find more positives other than the insight gained because of these studies..is there any thing else to say?

It's a bit hard to say because I don't know what you've already written, but it sounds like you need to be more specific than just 'the insight gained'.

Like the knowledge and research into compliance and coercion, obedience to authority figures, maybe deindividuation and if issues like that can be linked, etc etc etc. Don't put them all into one category of 'insight gained' from the studies, but be more specific about what the insight actually was and the implications of that.

You probably need to go in to a bit more detail about what came about in the field of Psychology as a result of that study i.e. the vast mount of research that it inspired, the boost in Psychologists and the recognition of the application of Psychology in to every day situations. You could also go in to detail about the kinds of studies it promoted to tell us more about human nature - conformity, majority and minority influence etc.
