Any advice would be great thanks.

I have just started a position with a large IT firm as a trainee but in something I hate and not interested in. I got a call a couple of days into my new job from a school I had an interview with last month and they would like to give me a position starting in September.

I would love the school position, as its more money than the job I have now, closer and has better prospects. But will it look bad leaving a job after 4 months and would I even get a reference?

I really want the position in the school and is my dream job but I wont get it if I cant get a good reference and I cant ask my previous employer because they have just give me a reference and the new job wants one from this employer?
