In my Prelims I would have hoped to have done better and I NEED to get better grades in my final exam. In my prelims I got:

    English - D - 48%
    Physics - C - 69% ALL HIGHERS
    Maths - A - 70%
    French - A - 75%

Im my Final Exam I hope to get AABB, is this possible??

Really only English needing bumped up a bit coz i was only 1% off a B for Physics

It's certainly possible. I don't see how physics is a C  It looks like you just need to get English up to a B, which should be achievable with enough work

    69% and you get a C , i really hope that was a typo!

My mate got 5 C's in his prelims even though all his percentages were between 63-68%. It's really unlucky but I guess schools tend to raise the pass mark...

    Yo dude,

    Did you mean 59% for Physics ? that'd be a C.

I had similar results to these in my prelims, and also made a mess of English.

Ofcourse it's possible to up the grade. They say that you can atleast up your grade by 15%..... Now for those who work very hard,... even more, ! It's definitely plausible to go from a D to an A in english, or a B.

Just keep the close reading up, and get practising those essays.

Don't forget about physics though! You might have just mised an A, but remember that Unit 3 is no push over. There's alot of explanations in that unit which can eqaute to sometimes 10 or more marks in the exam..... So make sure your solid with them

As for Maths and French, Keep doing what your doing.

Remember for french that the speaking grade is 25 %, so potentially you may only need 45 out of 75 marks for an A... could drop 30 marks!
