    I'm not an olympic lifter so why would that happen to me? That lift isnt even part of my workout.

    well I specifically avoid doing too many exercises over my head anyway for this specific reason.

    the risk factor means that the only machine I do use (apart from lat pulldown and cables for seated row and the occasional cable cross) is the delt machine because it's easier to overload, whereas DB seated press and OHP/military press I go lighter on so I know i can control it.
