    How would joining the euro affect the role of the Bank of England in deciding exchange rate policy and setting interest rates?
    What would be the effects of this, including on UK financial services industry

    It would;t b able to do any of that I don't think.

    Was that not the best part of not being in the Euro during the downturn we could control our own fiscal policy.

    Bank of Eng would become unemployed

    that is the straight fact

    ECB in would be in control => epic fail

    hopefully Portugal does fail and Spain follows

    I don't hate those countries just the EU and its rubbish laws
