I need help picking a Course and Uni. I'm stuck between choosing Computer Science and Law. I'd like to stay in the north rather than going to a southern uni. I am currently studying: English Language, ICT, BTEC Business and BTEC Music. Uni's that I have looked at so far are: Lancaster, Manchester, Liverpool, Edge Hill, Cardiff and York. Thanks in advance for any help.

Law, depending on what careers you're looking at is the better degree to have, in my opinion. However, it is VERY competitive at the moment, with some people predicted straight A's getting rejected from 4+ universities. Without taking the subjects that are actually good for Law I'd recommend CS for you. York is a very competitive university, so you'd probably need different subjects to get in...

You might struggle with Computer Science without A-Level Maths

Don't mean to shoot you down but you do realise computer science is fundamentally complex mathematics and engineering?

It's closer to a maths or physics degree than an ICT degree...

Almost all unis ask for at LEAST 1 science at A-level (preferably physics, maths or computing).
