I am thinking about getting a scooter so i can get around locally quickly i.e college and work. There are many pros of getting a scooter i.e. cheap insurance, 100 miles to the gallon, avoid traffic
There are also cons such as being dangerous and could be hard to ride in the rain or snow.
Do you think it would be a good idea to get one to get around locally?
And before you ask getting a car is out of the question as i haven't passed my driving test yet but the plan is to get a scooter until i pass my driving test in hopefully 2/3 months?

You cant drive a scooter without a propper driving license so I would suggest a car. You can get dirt cheap ones off gumtree. I thought about getting a scooter but you people drive way too fast for a canadian like me.= and ive already mistakingly ended up on the wrong side of the road on a bicycle so I cant imagine riding a scooter here. I need the safety of a vehicle.
Think of how it would fit your lifestyle. With a small car u could go buy cheaper groceries at a big store like asda which might be only accesible by car or bus. Which would save you money. Plus with a car u can listen to the radio, keep warm in the winter...... srsly get a cheap car.
