    tofu, quorn, dairy products, fish (if you don't consider this meat), beans and legumes, eggs, nuts

    Nuts, seeds, yoghurt, cheese, seed foods (lentils, dried peas, beans etc), tofu.

    You can generally substitute in mushrooms when a recipe calls for bacon - like in macaroni cheese. It's nicest if you can just have both though.

    If you want the taste of meat, some meat flavoured crisps are vegetarian.
