We went to ABB which is a big industrial company and they have laboratories in Helsinki, they make everything basically from ship's hulls to safety pins. It was pretty boring aside from eating dry ice frozen marshmallows for ages. They had a huge thing full of dry ice, and we took a pair of tongs and mittens and started dipping marshmallows into it, they came out all crunchy and were pretty good.

Our Physics teacher went a couple of years back and said that they basically spent more time in the cheese museum that was nearby. Also, it took ages to get there.

Yeah, you failed to mention exactly where you were going...

As it happens, we were discussing school trips to CERN today in Physics :-o

Last year, for AS coursework, we visited the projection gallery of the local multiplex cinema. Was very interesting and there was lots of physics to observe and get marks from.
