1. What are the answers to B and C?

2. what have you done to the value of y in A to get the value of y in B?
3. i think:
b= -f(x)
c= 2f(x)
im not too sure as i haven't done this type of work in a few months, however i did get full marks in my c1 exam.

A is the graph that he was given. He then has to work out what happened to it for it to go to B, C and D.

I know..... i was trying to help them work it out rather than just giving the answer so they wont learn anything.....

oh sorry - it looked like you were a bit confused yourself by how to do the question.
Anyway i thought that they can look at the answer and then recognize how to get there.
p.s. im sure MyMaths gives you the answer if u get it wrong nyway.
