So it's my boyfriends 21st birthday very soon and my mum can't decide what to get him. She's panicking because it's a big birthday. We've been together for about 2 and a half years so my parents know him well. My mum's willing to spend about £40-£50. But she doesn't want anything random she wants something significant because its his 21st, or something memorable.
So, hope that someone can help who has maybe had their parents buy something for their boyfriend/girlfriend's birthday or had something nice bought for them from their other half's birthday? Thanks x

To be honest, even though it's a big birthday, it's not your parents responsibility to get your boyfriend something significant for his birthday. I actually think it's better if they get him something which is more casual which you know he'll like, such as his favourite cologne/aftershave, or gift vouchers to his favourite shop.
