Like you said watching child porn is a product of harm that has been done to children but those that are watching this are encouraging those that carry out the acts to continue harming children.

I will no matter what anyone says group all Paedophiles as one who deserve a collective punishment.
If you're not an idiot, then you're extremely prejudiced.

Are you actually suggesting people should be arbitrarily murdered and hanged because of their sexual orientation? Filth like you sicken me.

We are too soft on adulterers, gays and paedophiles for sure.

These people go against God's teachings and cases of sexual immorality should be dealt with very seriously.

Where is the evidence that there's a god and that these people go against His teachings?

That's not evidence. Yours is just one of countless delusions (aka religions) in the world.

It is my opinion that we are much to lenient on people whom commit crimes of a sexual nature; child molesters, rapists, voyeurs all seem to get off very lightly for what crimes that, if anything, show gross moral and social deformity and therefore should suffer much great punishment for they're crimes. For instance, today, I was reading a news report from the Flintshire Chronicle about a sexual pervert who had taken pictures and recorded footage of women undressing or using the toilet without there consent - it later transgressed that he also had child pornography on his computer. The sentence he received was a petty 14 months in prison with a more suitable period of time on the sex offenders register.

    My questions are:

Should we bring back capital punishment for rapists and those who engage in sexual activity with minors?
Should we increase the terms of incarceration given to those who download child pornography and those who stalker or film women without consent?
Should there be a program set-up to give people who have certain "urges" to commit crime of a certain nature psychological help?

I would personally answer yes, to all of these questions.

The incident that I was talking about is described in more detail in the article below:

When I saw the title of this thread I thought "Oooh". Then when I read it was about rapists, paedos etc I was like "oh"

You people need to familiarise yourself with the theory of relativity, and then apply that to moral beliefs.

Or just ignore Physic's Theory of Relativity and just look up Moral Relativism?

Sexual orientation such as being gay, bi or liking rough sex/bondage between consenting adults is fine as what consenting adults do is no business of mine, Paedophilia is not fine and never will be (and nor is it a sexual orientation, it is a disease that needs wiping out) as the children are non-consensual and this can and does scar them for life which no child should ever be put through. I don't see how this makes me filth for hating these *******s.

This would be very worrying based on the number of malicious false accusations and wrongful convictions that occur on a regular basis, especially now as it is almost seen as acceptable to sign away a persons life by means of a made up rape accusation (the perpetrators of such crimes tend to get very minor prison sentences (if any at all) compared to the sentences served or would be served by the victims of their crimes).

Any convicted rapist/paedophile who's name gets in the paper is going to have to endure absolute hell in prison, that's if (s)he doesn't get killed/commits suicide before the end of the term. When they get out, things would be no better -- they would be unable to get any sort of job, unable have any form of social life, and even unable to stay in the same home for extended periods as people would be able track down where (s)he and other members of their family live and make their lives not worth living.

So I believe that convicted offenders of the worst sexual offences probably get the highest penalty already taking the above into account. Which is the problem, for someone in that situation their life is as good as gone, so there is nothing in their mind stopping them from carrying on raping more victims (providing they really were guilty in the first place).

Of course it is a sexual orientation, how ISN'T it? It's not something you can choose either.

How can be paedophilia unconsensual? Paedophilia is a sexual orientation, not an act. Calling paedophilia unconsensual doesn't make any logical sense.

Calling it a disease, is frankly offensive. I bet you are one of those people who believe homosexuality is a mental illness aswell. Go sort out your prejudices and get some common sense.

It's not a sexual orientation. Children are not a 'sex'.
