    im soo glad i read this thread and i am gonna take the advice about the old spec.....nd i thought i was being all clever by using the how far how fast papers............

    It's actually really sad the lack of revision I have done for this! I love chemistry and got an A in unit 1 but now... I haven't even completed a full past paper! o_o
    Unit 1 I revised the night before and aced all past papers, it was easy but I don't think the same for this..

    Right, you know when you write out equations?
    Do you write out the molecular formula or the structural?
    Because in the text books, the equations are written by using the structural formulae but on the mark scheme for a past paper, its written as molecular..

    1) Biological Molecules - like it
    2) Food and Health - Give or take
    3) Biodiversity and Evolution - Crap.

    Structural Isomers - Have the same molecular formula, but a different structural formula.

    We have about 6 different (smaller) modules for each unit. Is food and health about soluble molecules and digestion? We did most of that in unit 1 I think. Our last modules are about biodiversity, didn't like it much.

    something along the lines that the bond enthalpy of chlorine is stronger than bromine c-br weaker than c-cl

    -Define the enthalpy of combustion
    -What happens to a Boltzmann Distribution diagram with increased temp?
