I'm about halfway through my overdraft and feel very silly so I can imagine how you feel. Get a job over the summer and save save save and hopefully that'll ease it a bit

Tbf, a lot of my friends consistently max out their overdraft over the academic year, work all summer to pay it off, and repeat this process for their entire degree.

if your a girl you could work as an escort or dancer? Your overdraft could be paid off in no less than a week if your good and maybe offer extras. I know a lot of girls that have done this through uni and have lived pretty comfortable lifes while at uni

least you have a tv to show for it...

even though i will because my rent is £30 more... ahwell good old student life, the overdraft is the best invention ever [=

How? I only dip into mine occassionally and have never gone lower than £70. Basically you're just irresponsible and deserve it.

I've actually just realised I'll be starting second year with about £400 in the bank.

my rent goes up by £4 next year lol. before uni i was a reserved wee lad who rarely touched a drop. I find running societies is a bad thing because it always ends in the pub. I need to find a hobby that doesnt end in alcohol lol.

i'm thinking of volunteering as an "adult" instructor at the local army cadet unit. they pay you or used to before all the cuts to go on camps and i'd enjoy it seems win, win.

and the constructive point of this post was what? to insult? sadist much?
i'd ask you to justify the hate but that would just feed you.

    anyhow back on topic.

To make you realise you're irresponsible so that you will learn a lesson and not do it again.
