I used to regularly use an 'exfoliating facewash' every morning and night, but gave up because it didn't do anything

I apply E45 every night and some random moisturiser every morning these days
Alot of doctors dissuade people from using E45, I think it doesn't do a good job of moisturising as don't other moisterisers in the market, many of these companies make a fortune from selling poor products. If you can spend abit of money and get the dermalogica skin range which includes the cleanser, exfoilator packs and moisturiser, you'll see some good improvement overtime if you stick to a strict regime of facial/skin wash daily. Don't use alot of products on the skin. Moisterisation aims to hydrate the skin so drinking enough water will help too.

    Go see a doctor obviously.
